چکیده
The Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry in Bangladesh was not ready to resist the repercussions of worldwide pandemic recently. caused supply chain become disorganized. Companies must make both micro and macro adjustments their strategy order adapt new norm be for future occurrences this nature. This research seeks give a paradigm creating defense tactics. study also examines facets imminent collapse alters existing characteristics overcome shortcomings. objective is build comprehensive guidelines that an FMCG can use avoid possibility such scenario. incorporates short long-term restoration policies material sourcing, manufacturing, distribution. process entails identifying fundamental drivers are typically affected by disruption. short-term proposals serve as corrective agents committed fighting interruption soon it arises. Long-term ideas, on other hand, type preventive measure require more time implement. However, they focus building barriers around brand so external disruptions cannot impact long run. Among advantages, these recommendations will result improved forecasting, responsiveness, real-time monitoring, cost-effectiveness. In addition, proposed philosophies were formulated into Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model. paper formulation equations involving ordering cost, holding inbound outbound transportation downtime, inventory level, response time, pertinent aspects. It houses non-pandemic coordination initiatives across organization. incurred costs determined using function constraints. presented model demonstrated 36% cost reduction while maintaining integrity during deterministic data set. Finally, 25 experts interviewed two rounds utilizing structured unstructured patterns determine KPI scores achieved due execution proposals. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) evaluated following comparison conventional methods. According study, procurement, distribution 90%, 86.67%, 80.30% correspondingly. models 85.66% viable overall.

Managing Disruptions to Supply Chains
For as long as there have been supply chains, there have been disruptions, and no supply chain, logistics system, or infrastructure network is immune to them. Nevertheless, supply-chain disruptions have only recently begun to receive significant attention from practitioners and researchers. One reason for this growing interest is the spate of recent high-profile disruptions, such as September 1...

متن کاملDesign of Resilient Supply Chains with Risk of Facility Disruptions
The design of resilient supply chains under the risk of disruptions at candidate locations for distribution centers (DCs) is formulated as a two-stage stochastic program. The problem involves selecting DC locations, determining storage capacities for multiple commodities, and establishing the distribution strategy in scenarios that describe disruptions at potential DCs. The objective is to mini...
متن کاملManaging Disruptions in Decentralized Supply Chains with Endogenous Supply Process Reliability
S upply disruptions are all too common in supply chains. To mitigate delivery risk, buyers may either source from multiple suppliers or offer incentives to their preferred supplier to improve its process reliability. These incentives can be either direct (investment subsidy) or indirect (inflated order quantity). In this study, we present a series of models to highlight buyers’ and suppliers’ o...
